Respond to Day 3 Blog Prompt:
Think about the ways that you have used technology as a communication, collaboration, research, and productivity tool. What is your greatest “take-away” from this three-day review? How will you use your new knowledge, understandings, and skills to model the use of technology to support and assess student learning?
If you have time, review the responses of your colleagues.
So far, I'm impressed by the collection of assessments and materials we have viewed this morning.
ReplyDeleteVery good workshop. I'll integrate these materials and tools into a 3-course graduate sequence that I teach.
ReplyDeleteThis has been a totally technologically empowering professional development for me! I came in here with ZERO wiki, blogs, etc skills, and two days later, I can not only do it, but actually help others!
ReplyDeleteThe tools will be put to good use in my courses as well!
Thanks!
This course has been very helpful for me, and I know that I can integrate much of the technology into my classes. I can definitely use the three tools, we learned on the first day, to encourage discussion. The practice with essential questions and the assessment folder will assist students with their units. I am excited about the Wiki, and want to make it into a resource center for students. I hope to place lessons, methods, and other extra data on that site.
